News on medievalheritege.eu – August and September 2024

   In August 2024, I added to the medievalheritage.eu 14 additional buildings from Ireland and 6 more monuments from Estonia and Latvia (tower houses Nabe, Murmuiža, Järve, castle in Ropaži, church in Burtnieki, Latgalian stronghold Tērvete). In addition, a description of the settlement Březno u Loun in the Czech Republic was added. Major changes and expansion of descriptions took place in: Świny, Bolków, Grzmiąca, Rokitnica, Owiesno, Kłaczyna, Milicz, Jelcz. Significant changes in the descriptions of monuments: Limbaži, Smiltene, Krimulda, Koluvere, Otepää, Piltene, Dundaga, Ēdole, Bērzaune, Vao, Purtse, Uraz, Stara Łomnica, Rybnica Leśna, Cieszów, Bardo, Czarny Bór, Wleń, Proszówka, Nowy Dwór, Prochowice, Karpień, Szczerba, Panków, Legnica (castle), Żelazno, Biestrzyków, Wrocław (castle on Ostrów Tumski), Otmęt, Ząbkowice (castle).
   In September 2024, 13 more monuments from Ireland were added to the portal. I also added 10 monuments from Poland: Ołobok, Popowice, Naramice, Grębień, Borów Polski (church and castle), Chichy, Ciepłowody, Bagieniec. I have thoroughly revised the descriptions of the monuments: Wytrzyszczka (Tropsztyn), Rytro, Brześć Kujawski (castle), Legnica (castle), Ćmielów, Chotel Czerwony, Podgrodzie, Sadłowo, Kraków (commercial buildings). Significant developments of the descriptions of the monuments took place in: Czchów (castle), Łaszew, Brześć Kujawski (town walls), Nowy Korczyn (castle), Bobrowniki, Rembów, Wojsławice, Uniejów (castle), Szadek, Lubin (castle), Brzeg (castle), Kurozwęki, Inowłódz (castle), Jędrzejów, Strzelce Krajeńskie (town walls, church).
