New on medievalheritege.eu – February and March 2024

   In February 2024, I added 16 new descriptions of monuments from Ireland, as well as 5 more Polish monuments (castle in Sątoczno, churches in Stary Jarosław, Stary Korczyn, Biedrzychowice Dolne, Dzietrzychów). I thoroughly rebuilt the descriptions: Lidzbark Warmiński (castle), Tuchola, Nowy Sącz, Virtsu, Tartu (castle description extended with city defensive walls), Haljala, Tartu (St. John’s church), Tallinn (city defensive walls). I also updated the descriptions of: Vastseliina, Tarvastu, Tartu (cathedral), Laiuse (church), Palamuse, Põltsamaa, Maasi, Padise, Chełmno (Cistercian nunnery, Dominican friary, Franciscan friary), Valmiera, Tallinn (residential buildings), Starogród, Szczytno, Świecie nad Wisłą (castle), Toruń (castle), Bierzgłowo (castle).
  
In March, I added 19 monuments from around Ireland, alphabetically from the monastery in Ballybeg to the tower house in Ballyfinboy. Additionally, I supplemented Estonian monuments with 6 churches: Helme, Puhja, Püha, Lüganuse, Kose, Risti. I thoroughly revised the descriptions: Czersk, Capel Garmon, Riga (House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, cathedral, St. John’s Church – description changed to Dominican friary), Cieszyn (castle), Cēsis (castle). I made major changes to the descriptions: Bratislava (town hall), Mołtajny, Barciany (church), Kościelniki Średnie, Jõhvi, Moel Ty Uchaf, Riga (St. George’s church, St. Jacob’s church, St. Peter’s church, castle), Cēsis (church), Haapsalu, Bauska, Koknese.
